To be an autobiologist in the meaning of studying
the own physical self, to map my body and to
register my existance.Which I have taken rather
litterally in the encyclopedia of my body (see books).

Autobiology also deals about having a fascination
for something. And in this case for those processes
in the body that happen automatically, independent
of desire or knowledge, being a little piece of nature
itself.

The bronze sculptures about these body processes
refer to the outside world by the way they are build
up with plants. The analoque processes that makes
it clear that we are part of nature and have to grow
and function according the same laws and rules.
The ceramic forms are also poly-interpretable,
simultaneously plant and human or landscape and
detail.

Autobiology as a statement against the contemporary
holy belief in the possibility of the production of
everything, including the own body. The ideal picture
to which we are supposed to aspire.
Autobiology is not being seduced by the group.
Surrender to being is not a passive attitude, but
demands a clear choice to protect your individuality.
The richness of the imperfect. The repeatedly
showing of its unique but related forms of life.
