| After a heavy January storm in 1990, I kept talking about those humps in the water until my husband said, 'Why don't you make it?' It felt like a huge break, but in retrospect, my waves are not much different from my torsos, except that now I could create anything. That gave me so much freedom. From water, it went to fire and volcanism, to all things 'naturalia et curiosa'. Everything that concerns nature or arouses curiosity, including people. |
